USHUAIA
Ushuaia est une ville touristique , elle est située sur l'archipel de la terre de feu, la pointe la plus méridionale de l'Amérique du sud, surnommée " Le bout du monde". cette ville battue par le vent est perchée sur une colline et entourée par le Cerro Martial et le canal Beagle.
LE KING CRABE
A Ushuaïa la spécialité c’est le king crabe cuisiné sous différentes façons, nous avons choisi la plus simple, sorti du vivier plongé dans le cour bouillon et servi tiède avec une mayonnaise un véritable régal , que nous avons partagé plusieurs fois avec nos amis voyageurs Eric et Marie Danièle dans le restaurant Le vieux Marin à Ushuaïa.
Ushuaïa reste un endroit mythique pour de nombreux voyageurs, ont y rencontre des baroudeurs du monde entier , mais également depuis quelques années des croisiéristes débarquent le temps d’un après midi et cela enlève un peu de charme à Ushuaïa mais ce sont des vacanciers qui nourrissent le business des hauts lieux du tourisme de masse.
LE PARC NATIONAL TERRE DE FEU
Le parc national Terra de Fuego créé en 1960 sur une superficie de 63000 ha seulement 2000 accessible aux visiteurs avec 6 km de cote marine , le but étant de préserver au maximum la faune et la flore d’une grande diversité.
Un bivouac face au Cap Horn , sur le bord du canal Beagle.
Pas besoin de se poser la question de savoir de quel coté souffle le vent .
LE CAMPING HAIN
Un camping hors du commun tenu par Roberto un original mais un véritable artiste.
L’habitude dans ce camping veut que chaque voyageur laisse une trace de son passage gravé sur un morceau de bois nous n’avons pas failli à la tradition.
NOEL AU CAMPING EL OVEJERO
C’est entre voyageurs de toutes horizons que nous avons fêté Noël,dans le camping El Ovejero à El Calafate autour d’un barbecue avec une météo très ensoleillée.
LE GLACIER PERITO MORENO
C’est d’abord en bateau que nous avons choisi d’approché le grand glacier Périto Moréno il s’étend sur une longueur de 14 km et sur une largeur de 4km ,c’est un site classé au patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco,véritable merveille, époustouflant .
Nous commençons à rencontré les premiers icebergs .
LE MORENO
Devant nous enfin apparaît le gigantesque glacier .
l’Eau est d’une pureté exceptionnel nous pouvons croquer la glace sans problème.
Débarquement au port de Las Vacas pour une heure environ de visite, dans le parc national .
Le lendemain nous avons décidé de visiter le glacier à travers le parc à pied , nous avons marché environ cinq heures afin de découvrir le Moreno sous un autre angle.
De temps en temps des blocs de glace immenses tombent dans la lagune.
Le renard de Magellan qui occupe le parc national mieux connu sous le nom de (ZORRO).
Ce parc est une véritable merveille de la nature à ne surtout pas manquer si vous passer dans cette région c’est un incontournable.

Belle surprise! nos routes se sont croisés , magnifique journée en compagnie d’Alexandra et Patrick , avec plein d’échanges sur les visites et nos différents voyages .
LE MONT FITZ ROY
Nous avions prévu d’aller voir le Mont Fitz Roy en trek ,mais en arrivant sur les lieux un vent d’une vitesse d’environ 80 km/h nous à empêché de visiter ce lieu mythique.
LE TATOU
LA ROUTE 40
La route nationale 40 (en espagnol : Ruta Nacional 40 ou Ruta 40) est une importante voie routière d’Argentine qui traverse le pays du nord au sud, depuis La Quiaca à la frontière bolivienne dans la province de Jujuy jusqu’au cap Virgenes à l’extrême sud de la Patagonie. C’est la route la plus longue du pays. Elle court parallèlement à la Cordillère des Andes en reliant les parcs nationaux les plus importants et traverse plusieurs des régions touristiques et des attraits principaux du territoire. Actuellement ce trajet mythique a été promu comme produit touristique national. La route commence en Patagonie au niveau de la mer et s’étend sur environ 5 000 km, traversant 20 parcs nationaux, 18 cours d’eau importants, reliant 27 cols andins. Elle culmine à 4 895 mètres au niveau du col d’Abra del Acay (es) dans la province de Salta.
Nous pouvons rouler des centaines de kilomètres sans presque rencontrer âme qui vive à part bien sur les animaux cela peut être stressant dans la mesure ou il ne faut pas tomber en panne, mais après quelques centaines de kilomètres l’angoisse s’en va laissant place aux magnifiques paysages que l’on ne se lasse pas d’admirer .
LE RIPIO
La route 40 passe souvent par des endroits non goudronnées ce que l’on appelle le Ripio la vitesse est considérablement baissé aux maximum vitesse autorisé 60 km/h mais beaucoup de conducteurs ne respecte pas cette vitesse, quand on croise un véhicule à 90 km/h gare au pare brise .
LE VENT
Cette route qui est très souvent à découvert est balayé par un vent qui peut atteindre des vitesses de 80 km/h voir plus , il faut sans arrêt bien tenir le volant au risque de perdre le contrôle, en clair cela se mérite .
Un tatou traverse devant nous il aura la vie sauve cette fois ci.
BIVOUAC
Nous avons bivouaqué près de la route des 7 lacs .
Depuis Villa Angustura ,qui est situé sur la rive nord du lac Nahuel Huapi la mystique route 40 décrit l’un des parcours les plus merveilleux de ce coin de la cordillère des Andes .
Une succession de lac sur près de 100 km dans un environnement sauvage, ou les montagnes se reflètent magnifiquement sur la surface de l’eau , tantôt bleu turquoise tantôt noir profond.

Passage du rio pour aller sur un spot au bord de la rivière.

LA RN 40
On longe la cordillère des Andes direction Mendoza.
Nous sommes toujours sur la RN 40 qui totalise 5240 km et à cette endroit nous sommes à la moitié entre Ushuaïa et la frontière Bolivienne.
Nous avons franchi les 20000km depuis notre départ notre compteur affiche 140000km.
Et toujours des paysages à nous couper le souffle.
La beauté des paysages est largement compensé par l’état des pistes et oui cela se mérite.

On abandonne la RN 40.
Nous avons un nouveau compagnon de route qui s’est invité.
Surprise pour continuer notre route dans la direction de San Rafael on devra de nouveau traverser le rio.
Rencontre inattendue.
Direction Cacheuta, step au bord du lac.
Bivouac à Uspallata.
PUENTA DEL INCA
Il domine superbement les deux Amériques il dépasse le mont Mckinley (Alaska) avec ces misérables 6194 mètres.
Avant le passage en douane nous devons emprunter une route très sinueuse pour rejoindre le Chili, les freins chauffent et l’adrénaline monte .
L’ARGENTINE
Après avoir passé 101 jours en Argentine nous quittons non sans regret ce magnifique pays rempli de merveilles et la gentillesse de sa population.

Nous reprenons la route direction Montévidéo
